I am sure a lot of you out there heard or read a lot of photography tips, and one of the more common one is to ‘look up’. And all I can say is that i totally agree with that! But it doesn’t stop there, look all around you and at weird angles… but never forget to stop for a while to compose your picture, else you might get a moment of “why didn’t i…. ” when you get home.

And sometimes, you might think that the photo you have taken is not good, but you might be surprise to take another look of it on your computer. I think that is why National Geographics photographer are told not to delete any photos…. after all, storage is cheap nowadays. That’s my take :)

[gadg3t] Nintendo DS to be use in Schools?

22 03 2010

It seems that Nintendo DS will be used in schools soon, if you are in Japan.

Speaking through a translator, Miyamoto said that Nintendo’s DS console was already being used in Japanese museums, galleries, and aquariums, and that his company was beginning to roll out the Nintendo DS system “in junior high and elementary schools in Japan starting in the new school year.”

I believe iPhone is a better platform with so many apps available, because development would be faster. But iPhone is so expensive compare to Nintendo DS. Ant to mention the fact that teachers might not know the student is texting or doing their sums. That’s my take :)

[comic] FoxTrot – A comic that won’t work on the iPad

22 03 2010

This is just hilarious! FoxTrot sure got it right on the dollar, poking fun of iPhone OS’ lack of ability to run Flash :)

We know HTML 5 is coming and everything, but that does not mean Apple can ignore Flash on something with a large screen size on the iPad. I can ignore a lot of the short coming on the iPhone, like flash, multi-task…. etc due to the size. But can Apple be more serious with the iPad? That’s my take!
