Took this photo at the Flower Market in Hong Kong, when I was there a right before Chinese New Year. We were easily there walking around the street for 2 hours, taking photos and looking at how the florist start setting up their shops. It reminds me of why I have never followed any tour group, and always travel on my own. Of course, planning a good holiday is not easy (especially with the busy schedule) but there are services out there like RevePlanner which can ease the pain. That’s my take 🙂
You can check out the rest of my photos from Hong Kong at my flickr account.
For that morning, I have limited myself to just using my 50mm f1.8 AFD lens to take photos for a few reason:
- markets (whatever kind) is a good place to take portrait shots
- limiting your options (focal length) is empowering! Seriously!
- forces me be to more creative in my composition
- i just felt like it 🙂
