Don’t Hit F1 in Windows if a website asks you to

3 03 2010

There is a bug affecting Internet Explorer in Windows 200, XP, and Server 2003. A dialog would pop-up requesting the user to hit F1 (which is the commonly known “Help” button), which will lead to untold misery. Microsoft knows about this, but a patch is always too late.

The safest way? Move to alternative web browers like Firefox, Opera, Chrome or Safari. My personal favorite is Firefox, that’s my take 🙂

YEA. That is my take too.
IE is too slow.
I tried Chrome, but switch back to FireFox again.
