… in the US at least according to Admob. But it can happen as soon as next month if Android’s adoption continues at this pace.
Admob’s Mobile Metrics Report sees a predictable continuation of Android’s “full steam ahead”, especially after the massive success of Motorola Droid in the US. But fear not Apple fans, iPhone is still very far ahead in terms of the world wide OS traffic share by ~30%!
It seems that Android is eating away the other phone OS’s traffic share, especially Symbian in the world arena. Now it’s a question of how long Nokia can maintain their dominance in the world mobile market as more people are switching to smart phones, and they are losing their piece of their pie FAST.
Now i am wondering whether Apple’s new iPhone due in Jun / July this year will help save their dwindling market share or it will be somewhat a flop like iPad. I am predicting a lot of hype and a flop. That’s my take.
