[tools] gmails adds new features

16 04 2010

Gmail is getting closer to be a full cooperate emailing client everyday, and with new features added yesterday to Google Chrome and Firefox 3.6 users such as drag and drop attachment. I would say that it’s an achievement for browser based emailing client, and all the gmail user out there would agree that it is an incredibly handy feature to have.

Below is the 2 features added recently are:

  • drag and drop attachment
  • permission and access to view other people’s google calendar for sending invitation

Go try them out…. but with only support to Chrome and Firefox 3.6, we might be seeing a rift between browsers for features. After all, the major companies have their own browser and free e-mail to defend. That’s my take.
