The people of Gizmodo managed to get their hands on an iPhone 4G. And based on their article, the phone was found lost in a bar in Redwood city. Gizmodo has disassembled it, and it is the real thing. Someone in Apple is sure going to get their ass whooped 😛
The highlights are:
- dual mic (noise cancellation)
- aluminum body
- front facing mic
Although the next-gen iPhone are partially made out of aluminum, but from the pictures and video, it does not the the sexy curves of the previous generations. If this is the final product, Nexus One rocks more in terms of visual appeal. But again, Apple is known to create false outer shells for their prototypes so that the developers can use it in real-life testing. That’s my take.
